Navy Esports Challenge
LAFW Navy Esports ChallengeÂ
The digital battlefield is set—are you game? For the first time ever, LA Fleet Week is hosting the Navy Esports Challenge—a brand-new competition where strategy, speed, and teamwork collide in front of a live audience on the iconic LA Waterfront.
Presented by the United States Navy, this inaugural event showcases the power of modern gaming to unite communities, foster leadership, and inspire future careers in tech and service.
Esports teams from surrounding Los Angeles county high schools will go head-to-head against the Navy’s elite esports squad, Goats & Glory. Participating school teams will be vying for a grand prize scholarship.

* Live Tournament Action featuring popular competitive title – Rocket League
* Student Showdowns: Watch standout esports teams from local LA schools face off against the Navy’s official team, Goats & Glory, in thrilling exhibition matches.
* Meet the Pros: Interact with sailors from Goats & Glory and learn how esports and cutting-edge technology intersect with real-world Navy careers.
* Hands-On Gaming Stations: Fans can hop on the sticks, challenge Navy players 1v1, and explore high-tech gear.

Competition will take place Saturday, May 24th from 11am-5pm
Gaming is available to the public and can challenge the Navy team on Friday, May 23 and Sunday, May 25.Â
